About the Role

As the marketing assistant, you’ll handle daily scheduling, posting, and reporting for multiple client accounts. You’ll ensure that social media content is uploaded correctly and on time, manage Google Business Profiles, and use AI tools to assist with writing and workflow. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and creative team to keep everything running smoothly and consistently.

What You'll Do

  • Schedule and publish content across social platforms using SocialPilot or similar tools

  • Post regularly to Google Business Profiles, including Q&A updates

  • Upload videos to YouTube with proper titles, descriptions, and tags

  • Pull and organize social media performance reports

  • Use ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to assist with content creation and post drafting

  • Manage creative assets and captions for accuracy and consistency

  • Perform hashtag and trend research when needed

  • Maintain social calendars and ensure client deliverables stay on schedule

  • Communicate promptly with the Operations Manager on updates and priorities

  • Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines

  • Team player with consistent communication habits

Requirements

  • Mid-level or higher experience in social media management and marketing assistance

  • Must work U.S. hours: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Eastern, Monday–Friday, with one-hour lunch break

  • Full-time role requiring 100% focus (no other employment, freelance projects, or side work allowed during work hours)

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and backup plan

  • Excellent understanding of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) for task assistance and content writing

  • Experience using Canva, SocialPilot, and Meta Business Suite

  • Experience managing Google Business Profiles and YouTube posting

  • Reports directly to the Operations Manager

Probationary Period

This position includes a 90-day probationary period with daily and weekly check-ins. During this time, performance, communication, and reliability will be continuously evaluated.
