If you didn’t know Yahoo was changing their logo, you might not even notice the change.
The logo’s redesign is the latest move in a makeover of Yahoo by CEO Marissa Mayer. As expected, the new logo uses thin letters with white and purple colors, and retains the exclamation point. This was the first update to the Yahoo! logo in 18 years.
On her blog Mayer tells how she work with a design team over a weekend to come up with the new look, which she calls, “whimsical, yet sophisticated. Modern and fresh, with a nod to our history.”
