This is your marketing minute from Forward Push. And earlier this week, the New York Times had an article explaining a roadmap that Mark Zuckerberg has for the integration of Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp. And it talked about all these different possibilities of merging them all together into one app or one platform so that everything was seamless between the three different platforms.
And Zuckerberg fired back and said, yeah, we are working on that, except the public’s not gonna see anything until 2020, at the latest. And that’s all fine and dandy, except today, we are learning that Instagram Messaging is coming to the Facebook Page Manager app.
This is great news if you are a business and you’re running a Facebook business page and an Instagram business page, as well. When you get messages currently, anything that’s in the Facebook app is only Facebook messages an you’re having to go out somewhere else to answer Instagram. So it looks like we are going to get both of those platforms in one app sooner than 2020.
I will keep you posted as soon as I hear they are available. And this is great news, I’m super-excited about it.]]>
