Social Network Cuts Ad Units
In an effort to show less clutter in its users’ feeds and simplify its offerings to marketers, Facebook is cutting its ad units from 27 to fewer than half. The cuts are being put in place to eliminate redundant units and make ads appear more consistent.
Say Goodbye to Facebook Offers
As part of the cuts, Facebook Offers is being eliminated. Facebook has said that marketers are finding that using a Page post link ad is more effective to drive users to deals on their own website, thus the elimination of Offers. Look for these chances to happen over the next six months.
