- Helping Your Competitors – Google’s study found that approximately half of all respondents reported that if a company doesn’t have a mobile website, they will use them less often than if a company took the time to develop a mobile-friendly site.
- Hurting Your Reputation – Frustrated, annoyed, and lack of engagement are just some of the terms that can describe customers who encounter non-mobile friendly websites. In fact, a poor mobile experience can often cost you sales and a negative reflection on your brand, as was evidenced by the 52 percent of respondents who claim that bad mobile experiences makes them less likely to return to a brand at all.
- Failure to Convert – When your SMB is able to offer an excellent mobile website experience to customers, purchases are more likely to be made. In fact, 67 percent of respondents to Google’s survey reported that they would be more likely to buy a site’s product or service. Without a mobile website, you can likely kiss these customers goodbye.
