White Hat SEO Practices Win
Short answer: Unfortunately, we don’t guarantee any particular ranking on Google, page one or otherwise. If someone does make that guarantee to you, you might want to check their credentials or methods.
Here’s the thing — SEO is a multi-tiered and dynamic beast. Google, Bing, and other search engines are constantly evolving, and that means that your ranking may change from month to month, week to week, even day to day. There are many other factors involved in there, and the biggest one is content competition.
For example, Google will weigh some things naturally higher than others: Wikipedia, Amazon, and other big-name universal sites pack the biggest punch for keywords and there’s next-to-zero chance for knocking those off. Once you get past that tier, there are the other already-established results that may or may not move.
On the other end of the spectrum, your targets for keywords have to be appropriate with traffic potential. After all, what’s the point in getting a high rank if no one searches for your particular keyword? Part of our process is looking at potential for keywords that generate a lot of traffic against weaker competition. This provides the opportunity to land a good ranking without having to shove past the shoulders of Wikipedia or other major sites.
Even after considering these types of factors, we don’t offer any page guarantees. In reality, no one can — not with constantly evolving algorithms. From a provider perspective, the major search engines even warn marketers that guarantees are impossible, so don’t do it.
All of these funnel into our philosophy of not making guarantees. However, perhaps the most important reason is this: since it’s an impossible promise, it’s simply unethical for us to claim otherwise. At Forward Push, we champion ourselves on communication and transparency, so while the answer may not be what you necessarily want to hear, it’s simply the right thing to say. What we can promise you is that we will use all of our experience and skill to generate effective and smartly strategized results that follow the best practices as dictated by major search engines.
